Classically minded death metal with blasts of grim, grinding riffage, eerie minor-key melodies, and doom-laden crush, shifting into blasting assaults of high-speed violence. This is seriously dark and decrepit stuff, lightless and suffocating, drenched in reverbed and sepulchral atmospheres and draped in malevolence and black rot. One of my favorite demos of 2021, originally self-released, now re-issued on Rotted Life. Sonic green shell lmtd 125 copies.

What else is pretty cool about metal at year end? You find out all kinds of heavy shit that slipped past you during the year. What an amazing debut release from Gosudar.
